FKTE UniMAP Graduate Makes History with IEM Gold Medal Achievement

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering & Technology (FKTE), Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) proudly extends its heartfelt congratulations to Nik Nuraina Fadhilah Nik Muhammad Nasir, a 2025 FKTE UniMAP graduate, for her outstanding achievement in receiving the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM) Gold Medal under the category of Best University Student in Engineering for the Year 2025.

This prestigious award was presented on 18 April 2026 at Sunway Resort during the IEM 67th Annual Dinner & Awards Night 2026.

This achievement is especially significant as it marks the first time in UniMAP’s history that a student has been awarded the IEM Gold Medal, thereby bringing great honour to the university at the national level.

At FKTE, students are nurtured to become future pioneers through a holistic development approach that emphasizes self-empowerment, academic excellence, and mastery of soft skills. These efforts are continuously supported through various strategic initiatives focused on student empowerment, student development, and the strengthening of international and industry networks, in line with the aspiration of producing highly competitive and impactful graduates.
