Hands-On Training Successfully Completed – Series 2

The Hands-On Training on Substation Equipment Testing and Maintenance: Protection Relay & Current Transformer (Series 2) was successfully conducted on 18 & 19 April 2026 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering & Technology (FKTE), Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP).

This program brought together a diverse group of participants, including students, alumni, academic staff, and industry professionals, creating a dynamic and collaborative learning environment.

Throughout the training, participants gained valuable practical exposure and hands-on experience in key areas such as:

✔️ Power system faults
✔️ Protective relaying fundamentals
✔️ Overcurrent protection
✔️ Current & potential transformers
✔️ Relay setting and calibration
✔️ CT magnetizing curve testing

This initiative reflects our continuous effort to bridge the gap between theory and real-world industrial practices, especially in the field of power system protection and substation maintenance.

This program was jointly organized by FKTE UniMAP in collaboration with Servelead Sdn. Bhd.
